My own observations (where different):

	LSD: 15-30 mins
	MDMA: 30-90 mins

The onset time is somewhat drug dependent, dosage dependent, and can
also change due to method of ingestion. For instance, LSD in paper
form, is actually not ingested through the digestive system, but
through the salivary ducts and lymph glands. This brings it much more
quickly and with less loss into the bloodstream. Smoking and nasal
inhalation are perhaps the quickest way to ingest something, but not
everything is smokable. Some compounds break down when oxidized. I
do know, however, that MDMA and such compounds ARE smokable. Any
others? I've never tried to smoke mushrooms, although it would
probably work. I usually avoid smoking when I can. I want to be able
to breathe on the off-chance that I reach 40.
As anybody who has tried it can verify, it takes a lot more pot to
get high if you eat it that it does if you smoke it. It also produces
a different sensation, longer-lasting highs, etc. Any insights as to
why?

i tried something claimed to be crystal meth, and it took a substantial
amount of time (45 mins+) for it to take effect (orally consumed). and
i'm not aware of MDMA taking up to 90 minutes. however, at lower doses
the effects can be subtle enough that someone might not realize they're
taking off until they hit the peak at about 90 minutes (particularly
unexperienced users).
